All the Same design as the original version. This locator uses bluetooth technology with the happy lighting app which allows the user to control via the app on your phone. Also included is a small remote that uses infrared technologoy. Must have direct line of sight with sensor on control box to work. This style of locator allows the user to choose from different chasing/dancing patterns wile also allowing the ability to choose a single color via presets or color wheel. Camp locator is the same 2.5ft length and the base will slide into the top of a poles and holder telescoping pole. There will be 30ft of wire to allow you to connect to your control box. You have the option of mounting the control box to your RV as it is waterproof, or for piece of mind you can create a quick disconnect and store the control box with the locator in the storage compartment of your rig.
You will need to provide wire to get from the battery to the mounting place of the control box. We recommend that you use 14-18 gauge power and ground wire for a distance greater than 20ft. This will help minimize voltage drop over a long run to maximize the brightness of your camp locator.
