Original RGB Version:

The Whip Tech camp locator is 30″ in length and spiral wrapped with 5050 RGB LED to allow multiple color changes.  Utilizing a Infrared wireless controller to choose from 1 of the 20 different preset static colors or 5 dynamic static modes (fade, jump, flash white) to set your self apart and be able to locate your camp.  Camp locator has an auto save function, which allows the last color or mode selected to continue when power is reestablished.   We provide 30′ of wire to setup your new camp locator. The mini controller is located at the end of the wire closest to the ground allowing easy color changes using the same 44key remote control as your Whiptech Whips on your car.  The base of the camp locator will fit perfectly into the top of a Poles and Holder telescoping flag pole.

Bright Single Color:

Utilizing the same Bright LEDs on our single color whips we have made a camp Locator that truly can be seen from miles away.  This version of the single color will come with a RF remote that will allow on off function along with the ability to choose 8 different modes that allow version of blinking/flashing to differentiate from other camp locators that may be similar colors.

RED WHITE BLUE:

Utilizing our Single color Leds we Combine the RED WHITE and BLUE led strips to show the colors that matter the most and can be seen for miles.  Same as the single color, the locator will come with a RF remote that will allow on/off function along with the ability to choose 8 different modes that allow version of blinking/flashing to differentiate from other camp locators that may be similar colors.

BLUETOOTH

All the Same design as the original version.  This locator uses bluetooth technology and allows the user to control via app on phone or will also include an IR remote to select desired program.  This style of locator allows You to choose from different chasing/dancing patterns and also the ability of choose a single color.   Camp locator is the same 30″ in length and base that will slide into the top of a poles and holder telescoping pole.  There will be 30ft of wire to allow you to connect to your control box that will be mounted on your RV.

You will need to provide wire to get from the battery to the mounting place of the control box. We recommend that you use 14-16 gauge wire for a distance greater than 20ft.  This will help minimize voltage drop over a long run to maximize the brightness of your camp locator.

All Camp locators will come with 30ft of cable to hook to power.  we provide the plugs to connect to remote. Every RV is different and a power wire will need to be provided by you to get to the 12v battery source.  Depending on mounting location it may be several feet or 40feet.  For lengths greater than 20feet we recommend between 14-16 gauge positive and negative wire.  Connection to battery can be the Alligator clips provided or eyelets that can allow for a more permanent connection.

If you do not have a pole that the base will slide into you may be able to zipty the base to your pole to secure it at the top.
